Electronics devices
- As a general rule, all electronic devices must be carried by passengers.
- Passenger-authorised PEDs MUST NOT exceed the 100 Wh (watt-hour) limit. This group includes: Smartphones (iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, etc.): between 10 and 15 Wh; Tablets (iPad, Galaxy Tab): between 20 and 40 Wh; Small laptop computers (MacBook Air, Dell XPS 13): between 50 and 60 Wh; Compact digital cameras: between 5 and 20 Wh; Standard power banks (up to 20,000 mAh) and electronic cigarettes, which must remain under the passenger’s control at all times.
- All electronic devices must be carried by passengers in a controlled manner and protected against short circuits (for example, by keeping them in their original packaging, taping their terminals and placing them inside a plastic bag or box), preventing them from falling, being damaged or becoming entangled in moving seat parts, short-circuiting, overheating or catching fire. They must also be protected against unintentional activation by avoiding storage together with other devices or potentially flammable items (such as colognes or perfumes).
- Power banks (portable charging devices) MUST NOT be used to charge PEDs during the flight.
- If you notice that your device is overheating or starting to emit smoke, immediately inform the cabin crew. You will receive further instructions.
